URGENT!!! Family & friends Im asking again for everyone to keep my Mama-Jackie McGarity in your prayers & ask for her to be put on all of your prayer lists in your churchs too. I posted on here 1 month ago asking for your prayers & I went striaght home to be with Mama for tests & to take care of her for 2 1/2 weeks. During this time she had more x-rays done, cortizone shots, Dexa scan & cultures were sent off to make sure she didnt have tuberculosis. When I left, the cortizone shot to her hip along with pain meds & other inflammatory meds had her to where she could walk & sleep in her bed again. In the two weeks since I have been back she has had to go & get a cortizone shot under her knee cap which only lasted 3 days & she was back to where she could barely walk again. They did a bone scan & the lung Dr. saw her today. He has told her that it doesnt look good. She is scheduled for a biopsy of the lung Tuesday morning & they are setting up an appt. with the orthopedic surgeon for him to go into the hip & thigh bone to do biopsies. He is talking about chemo & radiation after that point. My Aunt Joe & Uncle William have been able to help her as much as they physically can. I will be leaving Thurs. or Sat. headed to her to take care of her while she is going through this. Leaning real heavily about bringing her out here to Texas for any treatments she will require. Please pray for her to have a receptive heart for coming out here for treatment. This is my MAMA & I want the best treatment that she can get. As anyone would want for thier parent or loved one. Im still in shock. This news has totally knocked me for a loop. She has always been healthy & doesnt have to take any medication until she started having this horrible pain that nothing is relieving. Please pray for me that I can keep her spirits up during this ordeal. I THANK ALL OF YOU FOR YOUR PRAYERS IN ADVANCE. Love to all of you.
