US TAX RATE HAS GONE BANANAS: Chiquita is considering moving its headquarters from Charlotte to Dublin, Ireland to save millions in corporate taxes. The nominal corporate tax rate in the United States, which combines national, state and city-level tax rates, is nearly 40 percent — the highest across all 34 Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) member countries. Irelands is 12.5 percent.
