US and its allies (collaborators) have begun the arial bombardment - TopicsExpress

US and its allies (collaborators) have begun the arial bombardment of ISIL/ISIS strongholds in Syria! Not in Iraq, but in Syria!!!! Major urban centers that house ISIL command centers and arsenals are targeted. Plus consider this: US covert boots (CIA/DOD/NSA/FBI assets) on the Syrian battleground most obviously had previously pinpointed these new targets. How can this surgical strike force possibly inflict significant if not severe destruction to key military targets without incurring major collateral damage to civilian populations of non-combatants? ISIL will inevitably proclaim that we struck hospitals, schools and market places. US and its allies will respond that these targets were protected by non-combatant human shields. Predictably, each side will demonize and dehumanize the other side. Each will explain that their goal is to degrade if not to destroy the opposition . I am no clairvoyant. All this is entirely obvious and predictable. Questions: Our allies-- Qatar, Jordon, Saudi, Emirate (and most probably Israeli) previously helped finance, train and organized the Sunni extremists during the War in Iraq-- an impressively equipped a highly effective, disciplined army that eventually morphed into this monstrously demonic force. How and why is it that they have supposedly now joined the US military efforts to degrade and destroy these extremists? What happens after inevitable horrific blow back realities: namely, US operatives are captured and beheaded? US pilots are shot down, captured and beheaded? Suicide bombers target US surrogates command and urban centers in Jordon, Qatar, Israel, Saudi Arabia etc. Terrorists bomb American infra-structures: shopping malls, transportation systems, communication centers, etc. The global dogs of war have been unleashed. Military consequences escalate exponentially. What about Russia? China? And WHAT ABOUT THE US CONGRESS???? Once again US tactics of Shock and Awe fail to degrade and destroy ISIS/ISIL. History speaks volumes that military offensive operations against stateless terrorist forces are hugely counter-productive and typically result in the exact opposite of intended outcomes. Tell me how and why my thinking is all flawed and all wrong?
