USA: US failing to keep Safe Harbor promise US consumer privacy rights organisation, Center for Digital Democracy (CDD), filed - on 14 August 2014 - a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), in relation to 30 companies which the CDD alleged are failing to provide the safeguards stipulated in the US-EU Safe Harbor Framework.
