USBC Womens Championships update: A look ahead As the 2014 USBC Women’s Championships nears its June 30 finish, the top female bowlers in the country will visit the RSCC this week in advance of the USBC Queens and Senior Queens, which will take place at the National Bowling Stadium from June 27-July 3. There will be five live stream broadcasts from the RSCC, starting June 22 at 7 p.m. EDT, when Time of Our Life of Saddle Brook, N.J., hits the lanes for its team event. The talented group consists of former collegiate standouts, and they have been regulars in the top 10 at the Women’s Championships. On June 24 at 10 p.m. Eastern, Some Strike It Hot of Albuquerque, N.M., will be featured. The group captured the 2012 Diamond Team title and finished runner-up in the same event in 2013. The team also finished third in Scratch Team in 2013. On June 25 at 7 p.m. Eastern, former Team USA member and 2012 USBC Queens champion Diandra Asbaty and her talented team will be spotlighted. On June 26 at 3 p.m. Eastern, the 2013 Diamond Singles and All-Events champion Christine Gill will return to the RSCC to see if she can reclaim her spot at the top of the standings. Her doubles and singles competition will be featured. Finally, 2013 Scratch All-Events champion Rocio Restrepo will return to Reno to see if she can duplicate her near-record performance from 2013. The Colombian national team member posted the second-highest all-events score in Women’s Championships history, 2,274, on her way to the title and added the only perfect game of the 2013 event along the way. Her doubles and singles will be broadcast June 27 at 11 a.m. Eastern.
