USF School of Architecture and Community Design and The Florida - TopicsExpress



          

USF School of Architecture and Community Design and The Florida Center for Design Resources held their first charette with county representatives. A collaborate initiative of AIA Tampabay and Hillsborough County Government. The idea was envisioned as a result of conversations with Commissioner Victor Crist and past Commissioner and Architect Joe Chillura. The effort was spearheaded by Antonio J. Amadeo, AIA and Robert MacLeod, Director of USF The School of Architecture. The purpose is to develop connectivity within the urban core, repurpose the main lobby and create better public access to this government center while engaging student with elected officials. Their work will be displayed at County Center and represents s AIA efforts in connecting with citizens and elected officials.
