UWI Lecturer Dr Judith Gobin was part of a team of international scientists who made a major discovery located some 6,000ft under the sea, in the ‘debris avalanche’ deposit of the Grenada Basin, west of Kickem Jenny volcano. Dr Gobin is a Lecturer in Marine Biology at the Department of Life Sciences at The UWI St. Augustine campus. Incredible discoveries of giant mussels, tube worms and other organisms were made by Dr Gobin and the team. A National Geographic crew was on board to film this amazing find! Check it out!
