UWS has become the first Scottish university partner in The B1M’s Higher Education teaching initiative. ‘B1M University’ shares industry BIM expertise with students through filmed classes that are freely distributed across The B1M’s University Partner network. The B1M is an industry initiative to develop online video resources for learning Building Information Modelling (BIM). Classes are hosted at one of the University sites and sponsored by the industry organisation presenting. Milan Radosavljevic, Professor in Civil Engineering at University of the West of Scotland, said: “I am excited and look forward to hosting our first BIM event.
