Ugh...reminded why I dont clean very often. I really do like things to be clean, but since its impossible to keep up with it to my satisfaction I mostly dont beyond piling and surface level stuff. Amazing how I can go months without really seeing the grossness that is everywhere if I choose not to look too closely. When I really do take a close look it goes one of two ways; the scope is overwhelming and I just go back into denial and sit on by booty facebooking or pinning nice things Ill never do OR I go completely anal and detail every last thing without eating or sleeping until its done. Total spiritual discipline metaphor. Hows your house? My physical one is nasty and Im going anal. My spiritual one, after being neglected and kept up at surface level only for decades is in much better shape these days now that Ive learned to discipline myself to take care of business daily...minute to minute. Four Creeks Church - as for us and our house, were all about getting beyond the surface level upkeep and training to get disciplined about dealing with the nasty on a personal, intimate level - where people honestly live. Were well aware its never going to be a crowd drawer or pleaser.
