Uhuru presidency; Over promise and under deliver The country is tired of lofty projections and promises of things that have little chance of ever being reality. First it was 5 million tourists: this year will be hardly 1.2 million, down from last years 1.5 million and 1.8 in 2012. Next was 10% economic growth, expected to be 5.7 % this year but even this numbers are being revised down ward. Just because you wish it doesnt make it happen. Then 1 million Chinese tourists: Yap, from 40,000 last year after shrinking 10% from the year before. Learn to manage expectations Mr. President. Better yet, learn to under promise and over deliver or learn from your predecessor who just performed. During his inaugural speech, Uhuru promised the following: -economic progress - national unity -affordable healthcare - food security - jobs for the youth. Where are sympathizers and supporters of this government to point out any of this is coming along?
