*Ulster Ladies Intermediate Championship Final* CLG BnaG1-10 Glen (Derry) 1-11 Heartbreak for the Ladies on Sunday as a 65th minute Glen point meant defeat in the clubs historic first ever Ulster Final. The game looked to be heading for extra time as Amber Barrett scored a goal in the 64th minute to level the game but the Glen corner back popped up to fire over the winner for the Derry champions. It was a very tight match with nothing behind the sides and it could really have gone either way. Amber Barrett was as excellent as ever scoring 1-9 of her sides 1-10, while Orla Erin Harrison gave a true captains performance in the half back line, alongside an equally assured performance from Niamh Carr and Shannon McGroddy was a constant thorn in Glens side, especially is the first half. The girls should be extremely proud of themselves, the large support in attendance are certainly proud of them after this magnificent journey in Ulster which included victories over Mayobridge of Down and the Cappagh of Tyrone. The ladies team and management would like to thank all the supporters who made the trip to Clones and also to Omagh in the semi final as well as the home game against Mayobridge. The Ladies will now turn their focus to winning the league title when they take on Aodh Ruadh in a winner takes all game soon. Each and every member of the squad are a credit to themselves, their families and the club: Denise gallagher, Claire Murray, Aoife gallagher, Karen Peoples, Orla Harrison, Niamh Carr, Eimear Callaghan, Roisin Boyce, Bridgeen Devenny, Orla Mc Ateer, Rachel Coyle, Amber Barrett, Shannon Mc Groddy, Lianne Boyce, Aishling Mc Bride, Caoimhe Barrett, Sharon Graham, Aishling Mc Cafferty, Laura Mc Cafferty, Aisling Mc Dermot, Heather Dougherty, Niamh Sheridan, Katie McAteer, Aoife Donnelly, Fiona Mc Loughlin, Sarah Sheridan
