Ultimate South American roadtrip -- hitting all 13 countries: Colombia, Venezuela, Guyana, Suriname, French Guiana, Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay, Argentina, Chile, Bolivia, Peru and Ecuador. It is possible to change the route to include more beaches or more jungle. You could even drive straight down through Manaus in the Amazon rainforest. Im using Bing because Google Maps did not perform well in South America. Bing says this route is 16,665 miles and it would take 356 hours to drive it. Youd probably want to hit Tierra del Fuego in January or February and spend at least 2 months on it, maybe more like 4-6 months.
