Ummm....so how do things move forward? How is progress made? After walking out of the St Landry Parish Council meeting last night, one thing came to mind--a hot shower. The room was filled with hate, deceit and contempt. By nature, people react to the environment they are in and this meeting was no exception. Once again several members of the council displayed their anti anything that is not them attitude. Newsflash: you can wash it, you can fragrance it, you can debug it but the bottom line is this...you are still hauling around a self righteous anti human rights load of crap. Mistrust you? Yes, I along with thousands of other voters representing a diverse cultural gumbo see what you are doing and mistrust you on every level. Alas there are some council people that made sense. One said something especially important last night that everyone of us ( in the audience and on the bench) needs to consider...we all need to look in the mirror. But please keep this in mind. Parish Council, the reason you sit on a platform is because you are supposed to lead by example... Sadly, the greatest perpetrators are the ones that will be least likely to respond to this post in a positive way. So how about this....lets get over ourselves...get over the petty bull crap... and if you dont wanna play nice, then well work around you to fix what needs fixing and ultimately move this parish forward. OK. Rant over. It is a new day and citizens have work to do moving this parish forward. Peace g
