Uncut | As is said by the Victim, victim calls it Racisim in Kolkata ------------------------------ I would like to report an incident of racism in Kolkata..... and I also want my name to be withheld.... yesterday me and my sister had planned to watch a movie in our usual time..... we went to south city mall and got our ticket and as we had still many hours left in our hand, my sister wanted to get mehndi done in her hand.. and we want to the mehndi place and my sister got one... after that we sat down in one of the benches to await the movie timing, and my sister started fiddling with her hand which had mehndi, and some of the dry menhdi fell down on the floor without her knowledge, as this was happening one security guard went pass us staring at my sister but said nothing, but when he crossed us again, he said in a harsh tone to my sister stop doing that, I got up and asked the security guard to lower his tone while taking to a lady and thats the talk between me and the security guard, but a passerby kept staring at my sisters and I asked why are you seeing at them, after this a heated argument started between us, where that passerby used abusive word and I almost raised my hand to hit him but I controlled it.... but by the time two guard came and started shouting at me saying he will throw me in jail, one of my sister on hearing this said that I had done nothing and the other man started it.... but the guard got hold of me and started taking me to their office... my sister accompanied me to their office.... on reaching their office one of the guard hit me so hard on my head I fell down and on seeing this my sister started asking why did the guard hit me.... and she became ill.... the guy because of whom all this started was not brought down.... and when we argued in that, the man was called down to the office.... but no one even tried to listen to us.... we were surrounded by guards and seeing my sis ill I couldnt control my anger..... I started shouting.... and I was asked to hand over my i card, and they said that they have the cctv footage which has no audio but only video and they gonna hand it over to the police.... after all this no action was taken on the guard of the other man. One of the incharge while letting me go said that he is gonna break every northeastern ass if he can..... this I just an incident that occurred with me.. I have heard of so many such racism incident in Kolkata.... I request to plz inform this issue in your page and also with held my name.... thank you.....
