Under 15s League Match Report Ballincollig Afc 3 - 0 Crosshaven Afc Ballincollig Afc U15s travelled to Camden this evening where the faced Cosshaven, staying with the same 4-5-1 system that beat Carrigtwohill 5 - 0 last weekend with just 2 changes, Eoghan Murphy starting in the back line and Jake lefeuvre up top. The game started with Ballincollig kicking off and faced very strong winds which suited Crosshaven as the dominated much of the pressure early on but found Mark McGahey in goal in top form also his defence where outstanding standing up to the large amount of pressure put at them by Crosshaven with very strong winds, Chances came for Ballincollig with Jake Lefeuvre and Rilwan Eleke using their lightning pace running at the Oppositions back line, Rilwan and Jake both had there fair share of chances to nick a goal, the first chance came when Jake hit the post in the 22nd Minute soon after Rilwan was brought down in the box and Ballincollig where awarded a penalty Olan Dorgan stepped up but unfortunately the wind took the ball high onto the crossbar. 6 minutes later Rilwan was brought down again and the referee pointed to the spot again this time Kian McNamara took it and slotted it into the right bottom corner of the goal 1 - 0 up with minutes to go before half time Crosshaven tested Mark McGahey in goal again with a few attempts but Mark was brilliant saving every time.. HALF TIME. The second half kicked off with the wind at Ballincolligs advantage this time and we took good advantage of it, Eoin Sugrue on the right wing and Rilwan on the left wing where causing Crosshaven a lot of problems, The first change of the match was new signing David Twomey coming in up front and he got stuck into everything challenging for every ball and made and took a lot of chances, the second goal of the game came from a Kian McNamaras corner which swung straight into the net. A double change bringing on Kuba Wisniewski and Conor Leahy on the 60th minute, Conor in at Right back and Kuba in Right wing, Kuba made his own chances today with his quick pace no Crosshaven player could catch him. The 3rd goal was coming and when the chance came to Troy Jordan 25 yards out on the left he smashed his shot in off the bar 3-0 up now. The last two changes where Daniel Cronin in at Left back and new signing Jeancy Kumunzembe on in the centre of midfield on the 68thth minute. The last two chances of the game where Ballincolligs two free kicks the first by Olan Dorgan hit the post, and the second by David Twomey which also hit the post. FULL TIME.
