Understanding the Holy Spirit and His works” #71 “Trinity” Dear Friends. Who is God? Can God be known? We would say that our world has never been the same since the beginning of the fifteen century time. Although that opinions may vary in what could be the “End of the Age of Faith,” but to say the least it was during this time when in the Western Civilization that man gave up his “Faith in God” (The belief in the Sovereign God of Israel), and set up the “Age of Reason.” Compounded to this again came in 24 November 1859 this is when Charles Darwin published his famed book the “Origin of Species” a work of scientific literature by Charles Darwin which is considered to be the foundation of evolutionary biology. Since then it seems that our world has come to stand still. To the average person, there is no much problem if the person can find his or her daily bread, but when it comes to the Western and the intellectual world, almost everybody is dancing not to be seen as someone who is still associated with those with the “primitive minds.” The book has been a great success to the naturalists because it has helped them to divert man`s faith from the Holy One of Israel, this is whereby the naturalists have seen religion as a primitive idea. So in order not to be seen as somebody whose "thinking faculty has been suspended"(this is the frame name for the faithful Christians), so the best thing as an intellectual is to follow the mass exodus and joined with the league.... Someone has said that the book “Origin of the Species” was destined to revolutionize man`s conception of man. Before Darwin, man was set apart from the rest of the animal kingdom by virtue of his having soul. The evolutionary doctrine made man a part of nature, an animal among other animals. The acceptance of this radical view meant that the study of man could proceed along naturalistic lines. Man became an object of scientific study, no different, save in complexity, from other forms of life. (Calvin S. Hall (1909–1985). This idea has succeeded and has also created many divisions among the family members. Some people in the family may say that they do not believe in God, and others may say that they do believe because when you take God away from man. And said that man and animals are one, then those who take this views that man came from animal will start to reason like the animals. With this many families differ because they do not want to live and reason like the animals. Another issue is that the most part of Darwin`s evolutionary theories have been proven wrong, yet people still love his “Invention.” And it is all accepted within the intellectual circles, whereas “Nothing” ever that was said in the Bible has been proven wrong except that the intellectuals were saying that there will be no “Event without a Cause.” Which in another word means to say, if there is God, who created Him? And by reasoning like animals it is easy to accept that the earth just fall from nowhere, and exploded. So, in this case if you are a Bible student you will have no doubt because the Word of God has spoken of such a time when there will be the INVENTORS of Evil Things. 28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; 29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, 30 Backbiters, HATERS OF GOD,DESPITEFUL, PROUD, BOASTERS, INVENTORS OF EVIL THINGS, disobedient to parents, 31 WITHOUT UNDERSTANDING,COVENANT-BREAKERS, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful (Romans 1:28-31). Some of you may be harboring this question in your minds, why are we drifting so much from the course of the Bible into the secular knowledge? To answer this question, I would say that every baptized Christian has a place in the ministry, and you are called to be a witness of this Truth about the Death and the Resurrection of Christ Jesus (Acts 1:8). If you can read more through this passage from the Scripture you will find out the one reason why the Holy Spirit was released upon you. So, with this knowledge everybody is becoming an "Apologetic Christian" because of the intellectual challenges facing Christianity today. And nothing is worst than when someone is to ask you, how do you come to believe in what you have believed, and you begin to stammer.
