Unemployment filings rise slightly ........The number of Americans filing new claims for unemployment rose slightly last week ., though it still held close to its lowest level in more than five years . Initial claims for state unemployment benefits climbed 13,000 to 336,000 the Labor Department said . Despite the increase ,the four week moving average for new claims ,which gives a better reading on labor market trends because it smooths out volatility ,fell to 330.000 its lowest level since November 2007 .
