Unexpected treat to be the only audience member at the last gig of this groups run at Side Pony Express Music Festival here in Bisbee Sunday night. Stopped in to see Tin Can Tourists at the Queen and was going to walk on to the Gulch but these two started setting up to play to an empty bar so I stayed. Was not sure how awkward this would be if I did not like it but Bryan started talking to me and said they would be playing a metal/folkish fusion while he plugged in his electric guitar with the Sisterlip graphic stenciled onto it!? Cassidy Alisa is the teenage girl singer and she was clearly exhausted but when she started performing that all disappeared. Total pro with a strong voice. And this metal/ folk fusion of theirs was fantastic. They were happy to perform for just me and the bartender because we clearly enjoyed it. So yeah, a departure in style and genre from a lot of the what people like to call hipster bands that roamed our beautiful town with all of their wonderful music all weekend. Great festival. So yeah,thisis Cassidy Alisa and Bryan Mogul and I had to grab a video of it :-)
