Unforeseen pitfalls of floral delivery # Something: Liliies-love them lilies, but they pose a very hard to avoid difficulty. When I retrieve the old flowers for the new, invariably, more of the flowers have opened up and have presented their highly coloured pollen, so coulored, that it is used in dye making. This falls out of the blooms as I carry them out, and even though I try to very careful, often falls upon myself. Now I know this, and try to remember to check for it, but I forget and then, Im walking around with this intense stain of yellow (especially from the extravagantly beautiful and effusive Stargazers) on my face or and/or neck and I greet someone and they look at me strangely and say, are you ok?, to which I just sigh and know that they think I have acute jaundice and say, its just pollen-it gets everywhere! Then everybody laughs uncomfortably, and I walk away laughing at my silliness, as usual!!!!
