Unfortunately I witnessed a horrible event today at Bagnalls Beach. (Dog Beach)...A certain man was not watching his pet (a bullterrier cross) and it was off the leash. The dog came up to me and a lady that were talking together. The dog became aggressive at my dog and so I grabbed my dog in my arms and then the dog went for the ladies small dog. I was so frightened. The lady held her dog tight. The aggressive dog then proceeded up the beach and attacked a red cattledog. The cattledogs owner tried desperately to get the aggressive dog off his. Unfortunately the cattledog sustained a bad wound skin tear to his eye....We then proceeded to watch as the bullterriers owner tried to drown his pet by getting on top of him and holding him under the water. Then he lifted him up by the throat and punched at his head. Then pushed him under again then kicked him. I couldnt watch anymore....Dog owners should not bring aggressive dogs to dog beaches. And to the owner of this aggressive dog, Hurting your dog like that is only doing it harm and making it more aggressive. You are responsible for your pets behaviour..
