Unfortunately history will record that we lost the wars In Iraq and Afghanistan, as well as Viet Nam, not because of any lack in our fighting men, in fact their valor, heroism, dedication, and ability is unquestioned, but rather by the short sighted, timid, failed strategies of our military leaders due primarily to underfunding, understaffing and stupid constraints (under which they expect our military to succeed in an impossible situation) caused by our civilian leaders, especially those in the White House and Congress, who actually declare these wars, formally or not, then hamstring the ability of out troops to fight them. What they did in Afghanistam to handicap our troops, and cause needless causalties among these heros, should be treasonous.
