Unfortunately, the United Tribes International Powwow will no - TopicsExpress

Unfortunately, the United Tribes International Powwow will no longer be the home to the Miss Indian Nations Pageant. The Pageant Coordinator and one of the founders are currently looking for a new home where the pageant can thrive and continue to carry on the national title along with its core values. UTTC would like to focus on bringing new leadership programs on campus that will benefit groups of individuals through on-site training and activities. Miss Indian Nations XXI, Alexandria Alvarez, has gone above and beyond during her reign and has done a wonderful job this past year at all of her performances and appearances. Miss Indian Nations will still be attending the United Tribes International Powwow this year and participating in all of the grand entries, Youth Day, Parade of Champions and will have a special dance ceremony bringing her year long reign to an end on Saturday, September 6th from 4-5 p.m. at the Lone Star Arena. You can also catch Miss Indian Nations at the Women Empowerment Luncheon at the Tribal Leaders Summit held at the Bismarck Civic Center on Friday, September 5th at noon. We will keep you all posted on any updates and/or changes. Thank you
