Unfortunately the story had to be pulled. We have a few police informers which I could name - Devon Skinner Ryan Smith to name but a few. The law states that a publication should not name a suspect before or during being detained. This law is being argued by national newspapers. But of course if it was not for the press then particular stories like Saville, or Rolf Harris would have continued. Lets not forget that corruption is very much in line with MPs and the police force - Jill Dando was brutally murdered because she knew all about Saville and other pedophiles, some are within the police force and parliament. The press should be used to develop solid convictions by exposure. The press is very much the power - but agreed not the law. OPOB was asking if this was a suspect that was all. We will see very soon anyway. Until then OPOB remains credible as all our stories have much truth - particularly in the case of Cllr Casey.
