Union College is joining area businesses, organizations and City of Schenectady employees as they team up with Habitat for Humanity from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 21, to make much needed repairs on several houses in Schenectady. The project, which is part of the Northside Neighborhood Revitalization Initiative, will spruce up homes on Foster and Carrie Streets. If you can handle a hammer, paintbrush or rake, please consider joining the Union team. Activities could include painting, landscaping or minor repairs. Schenectady Habitat will provide supplies needed for the project. For safety reasons, please wear closed toe shoes. Lunch and beverages will be provided. Union volunteers will be given a t-shirt so if you are interested in being part of the College team, contact Caitlin Visccher at 388-6101 or [email protected] Sign-up online at schenectadyhabitat.volunteerhub/Events/Index
