United Way of South Mississippi is always helping local agencies find amazing volunteers. Are you looking to make a difference in our community?! Seal Day of Caring Days of Caring are one-day, semi-annual events designed to promote volunteerism in your community, and one’s coming up on October 24th! There are several great projects lined up across the coast, both indoor and outdoor, so click Day of Caring below to find out more about all the wonderful opportunities we have available. IP Health Fair Volunteers Bay Area Food Bank will be attending the IP Employee Health Fair on October 23rd as a vendor and they need some people to man their table. Duties include passing out information, talking to employees about volunteer opps and services. This is a very laid back event and usually comes with lunch. The fair runs 8-5, but it’s ok if you can’t work the whole time. Food Pantry Volunteer Bay Area Food Bank is in need of volunteers to help with SNAP applications at food pantries in Harrison and Hancock counties. You must be willing to volunteer at least 2hrs per month. Days and times are flexible. Training and materials are provided.
