University is Higher Education I strongly agreed with Moss Point of view that university is a higher standard of education in order to be successful. In my opinion if a student has not apply these writing skills it is very difficult to grasp in order to master that skills and this is not a place that will be suitable for someone who is not fluent in literature. Therefore, students have to be confident before applying to university because no one wants to invest a lamp sum of money to obtain an education and doesn’t have the ability to accomplish this goal. However, it is a student responsibility to take their education seriously in elementary and high school to have a better structure of writing skills that can prepare someone for university. Nevertheless, lack of literacy can reflect on someone future for the rest of their lives and sometimes society blame the school or the teachers for their mistakes by not fully participate in class assignment or performing his or her tasks on time. Basically, it is important for someone to do their assignments so that they can get the help they required to have a better understanding of writing skills for individuals to develop that knowledge. Universities are institutions of higher learning and it is not their responsibility to teach basic skills because most students are required to have credit in English and Math in order to be considered for acceptance at university. Having the basic skills in high school will give you a better understanding to recognize how vital writing skills are to be successful. For example Paul wants to apply for university and he believed that he has the knowledge to pursue his dream because he is good in Math but he refuse to admit that he doesn’t have the capability in writing skills and this can bring a major impact on his grade levels. As result of his literature skills, unfortunately, he didn’t acquire a degree in his writing skills and now blaming the professor that his articulation wasn’t comprehensible to achieve his goals. In reality this can also affect him if he doesn’t have that skill to apply for a job or if he gotten a job that can have an effect in his work place and brings attention to the employer. He may even lose his job based on his grammatical mistakes or not structures his writing skills. It’s important for a student to know his or her level of writing before attending university. There are many challenges to face in university that contains higher education and it not fair to anyone who has a higher level in writing skills and too held back from someone who is having difficulty to write an essay. However, this isn’t a place for that person because university isn’t a place to prepare someone basis skills. Therefore, this person has to seek help before considering or apply to university and have the knowledge of writing skills. When a person has invested in his or her education, it’s their duty to ensure that they have met the requirement for acceptance at campus. University professors, it’s not their responsibility to teach students that is lack of literature. Their jobs are to teach high standards of education and to ensure all students can reach their potential goals. Most time when these problems accrued, students intend to blame the professor or the campus and that can leave an awful reputation to the school and as a result of that the academy can be affected by students degrading the school system.
