The University of Missouri System is conducting a search for a full-time Director of Federal Relations to open a Washington, D.C. office. Interested applicants can learn more and apply here. Basic Function & Responsibilities: The Director of Federal Relations will represent the University of Missouri System by leading the University’s federal priority plan in Washington D.C. The Director is expected to build and maintain relationships with members of Congress and their staff, federal agencies, relevant corporate partners, and appropriate nonprofit foundations. Located in Washington, the Director will be responsible for developing on-campus networks with faculty and administrators and coordinating research outreach efforts with federal agencies. The Director will also oversee the tracking of appropriate legislative efforts to assure that the UM System priorities at the federal level are understood and represented.
