Unknown blogger This is my humble theory. JI is an islamic political party and the only thing they have to sell to the nation is... Islam. They have nothing else to offer except Islam (which is certainly not a bad thing, but the problem is that they dont even have Islam; they only think they do). But given its magnificent history in the form of Maudoodi (a towering Islamic personality), the continue to be seen as a genuine islamic party. Now comes IK of PTI who convinces the nation that his Naya Pakistan will be an Islamic Welfare State. Or in other words, IK starts to OWN Islam. Majority of people who love Islam but do not like JIs Islam, have started supporting IK. Here, the problem is completely different. Even though PTI loves Islam, they dont know KAK about Islam. Are there any towering islamic personalities associated with the party? Of course not! Siraj ul Haq of JI in reality doesnt support PTI because of political reasons but makes it look like a religious reason. JI will *NEVER* support PTI outside of government.
