Unlike some Igbo people, I dont give people my vote simply because the persons name is Favour or Goodluck or Rochas. Just like governor Sule Lamido of Jigawa state emphatically said that him and his people will vote for Jonathan because he has promised to his state. Governor Sule Lamido of Jigawa on Thursday affirmed that he would do everything possible to support the re-election of President Goodluck Jonathan in the 2015 polls. He said that his support for the president was based on his (Jonathan) commitment to fulfilling all campaign promises made to the state in 2011. The governor disclosed that Jonathan had assured him that the Federal Government would refund the money spent by the state government to construct Dutse International Airport. He added that the president also promised to rehabilitate and complete the Hadejia Irrigation Scheme and the Gaya-Jahun-Miga road project, respectively, recalling that they were part of his campaign promises. My question to the igbos is; where are we? U dont just support a candidate and make ursef cheap because u want to show ur hatred for hausa man or a Muslim. The best is to go out there and negotiate who has the better plans for ur people as politics is all about permanent interest. After all, if we should go down the memory lane, Ijoor and hausa people who are the greater enemy to the ibos? Who among the duo tight handed our grad fathers assets as abandoned property? It might take human to forgive ur friend but I bet u, it takes extra miles of grace of Jesus Christ to forgive and forget ur enemies!
