Unlike some who would seek to dismiss the role of workers in the ongoing revolutionary process in Egypt, these interviewees rightly center the role of workers in the uprising of January 2011. While the revolutionary process has faced setbacks (Mubarak just got acquitted by the counter-revolutionary government), this short interview points to how workers demands could ignite a new wave of struggle -- and why people in Egypt and internationally need to build revolutionary political parties to carry the struggle forward.
