I had a female relative whos husband beat her. After a few times that her family noticed that she had been beaten, her brother and one other male cousin went out to handle it. They never said a word to anyone except to each other (not even to her). They just made an agreement to handle this situation. One day, as the wife beater stumbled out of his favorite bar and hangout, he found his wifes bother and male cousin waiting for him outside in the dark. The only question they asked him was if he thought it was okay to beat their sister. He didnt have time to answer before they gave him a good and thorough beating of his own. They beat the crap out of him! He never told his wife what happened and he NEVER BEAT HER AGAIN. He never reported his beating to the Police. The marriage eventually ended in divorce but it was not because of domestic violence. Maybe it was his womanizing or his excessive drinking...
