Unnder 14 hurling league – McQuillans 7:12 Dunloy 3:5 Under 14 hurlers came out well on top as they collected the points in their latest league encounter at home to Dunloy. A goal and two points from oran along with two points from Boydy and a goal form Garry left the teams level at the break HT 1:4 apiece. In the second half the McQuillan lads really started to hurl to their potential and some great team play from ciaran and ryan saw garry net another goal and a point. Boydy also hit the net and went on to score another five points. Oran powered over three more points from the middle and oscar came off the bench to net one, with young seamy hitting 2 goals in succession. These scores were the result of hard work from the full backs and half backs along with frank around the middle and dilly up front. Great team display this evening well done lads.
