*Update* - William is out of theatre main thing for us as a family ( Heather, Janet, Angela, Willie-Da, My Mum & Sis Ashley) is he is alive & stable which is the positive, unfortunately our Fighter didnt get it easy though, the negative is that they werent able to do all planned and have to put him through more surgery with more risks :(!!!!!! Basically because William has shattered his rib cage & spine they have partially reconstructed the rib cage and in doing this they had to deflate his lungs for 6hrs which he didnt respond well to and also Will required alot of blood throughout so he now has major risks of infection & blood clots and they may have to repeat the work as Surgeon (who is amazing) isnt entirely happy. They did remove the bone and pressure from the spinal cord and in doing this they noticed that the protective casing on the spinal cord is ruptured what damage is done to the vital parts of the cord they dont know until they wake William and God Willing with our longed for miracle William will have function & feeling. The surgeon is going to repeat surgery hopefully in 36hrs if my man is strong enough but he has to remain sedated and ventilated until then. As a family united by Wills strength, courage & resillience we know we are not over the worst yet but small positive steps in his fight and William is here & sure is fighting thats the main thing.
