Update #1 As my departure date draws nearer I decided I would bring everyone whos interested up to date with my progress. - With the aid of a wonderful lady named Lois in Kenya, we have almost secured a location for the program. It is in Kajiado County just south of Nairobi. A final meeting is taking place on the 26th with the owners so fingers crossed! - Also I have been contacted by the owner of building company in the states offering his help and resources. We are currently exchanging ideas as to exactly how we can best utilize each others resources. He has also put me in touch with a trade school in the states. - Fundraising is going very well with $8574 now raised! - I have made contact with someone who builds mud hutts through out Kenya for charity and offered my assistance. This will be good to learn their way of building. - I have been writing up lesson plans etc for the program. These are exciting and are coming along nicely and I will post a copy of the course outline on here within the next week. - I am awaiting articles to be printed about the program in various papers and business magazines thanks to my company Ausform here in Melbourne. I want to thank everyone once again for the support you have all shown wether it be donating money or spreading the word. Simply liking this page can start a chain of events which help hugely. Donations have been coming in from right around the world which just goes to show how much of a powerful tool social media is. So please, share the link of this page one more time for me and lets see if we can get the donations up to the goal of $10,000 before I leave on the 29th. Thanks again.
