Update: Dad is sitting up in his wheelchair at his care center today, happy to see all his kids and consecutive families rally with him. He;s awar eof whats going on. A giant Thank You card with the names of the servicemen in his wing is posted at the nurses station, and he was in pretty good spirits, mind a few annoying television commercials (my sentiments as well on those!). I will be seeing him tomorrow again.
