Update: Dads body seems to be responding to the hormone treatments. His pain has diminished so much that he has stopped taking the narcotics and is hardly taking anything else for it. His appetite has returned full force and we were even able to make the trip to their campsite yesterday, which is about two hours away. We werent there long; just long enough to check in and let then know wed probably be putting it up for sale. The hospice nurse called dads apparent rebound the honeymoon stage. We have no idea how long it will last, but were making the most of every minute.
