Update: For those of you who have called and texted. I am ok. I have heat, electricity, food, internet and cable at this point. I have called all my elderly neighbors and they are OK. Many Nurses are stranded at area hospitals. People on Dialysis cannot get there. Babies are running out of formula. This is VERY serious for many people. Not that its a walk in the park for me but I am not in any emergent situation. . We are expecting another storm and I am hankering down the best I can. I am very exhausted though from trying to shovel. Each shovel full is weighty. I heard on CNN that to shovel a driveway 5x 20, is like moving 20,000 pounds of snow. I just shoveled my porch, my stairs and a path from my stairs and down the main sidewalk.The snow is VERY heavy. Think Alaska Eskimo snow to build Igloos with. I look at my driveway and car and just about ready to cry! It feels overwhelming. I know it sounds funny but my EX husband got stuck at my house! LMAO... we are only friends but while shoveling I looked at him and said Are you interested in moving to Asheville, NC with me and mining for gold? LOL
