Update: Just talked to the neurosurgeon and the CT from today showed no changes and his brain is fine - so dad is cleared for surgery which is needed on his foot and on his face. Foot surgery is looking like tomorrow and face will be sometime next week. (waiting for swelling to go down). HIs chest x-ray looked great, no fever, and swelling in his face is decreasing significantly. When they lighten his sedation, he responds appropriately to command by squeezing his hand or nodding yes or no. He loves to kick his foot out and off the bed (either one). We are happy to see this movement and its just typical of him to be squirmy! Side note on the neurosurgeon here in Lewiston: He is the brother in law of my dear friend that I lived with just before I got married. She was in my wedding and is married to his brother. Small world!!! All of your prayers are working!
