Update: So never having been really sick a day in our lives, Cinda and I are learning and trying to understand as we go. So this is what we are being told.. The bad news is that Cinda does appear to have Merkel Cancer in the tumor that needs to be removed soon, the good news (praise God) is that all tests have indicated that this very aggressive cancer has not traveled anywhere else. So Friday we see the surgeon to talk about how and when, then in Friday Cinda will have a pet scan done. They will then schedule the removal of the tumor and check her lymph nodes to be sure its not in there.. They will use radiation to kill anything that might be in the area of the tumor, after that we will just have to keep check ups to be sure it remains gone.... Keep praying...
