Update after appointment with the eye surgeon: I will have surgery on the right eye on Thursday, October 2, at Trinity Hospital. I will go for a-day-after surgery appointment with the surgeon at his office on the 3rd. Then 10 days later I will have another appointment at his office. For those 10 days my head/face MUST be kept down for the hole in the retina to close and heal properly. So........no driving, difficulty (or impossible) in doing almost everything, cooking, laundry, etc. Right now Kens hemoglobin is still extremely low and he is not doing any of the things that he normally does or could do. Any sewing that I need to do that hasnt been done by Oct. 2., will wait until............ There will be no way to work at the sewing machine and work during this time. Life is grand.
