Update for Mitch: Sorry it took so long, sometimes you just need to process. CT scan was not the worse news but not the best either. Hes spleen is still very enlarged and the lymph nodes shrunk just a little so we get to wait another 8 wks before next CT scan. They would not clear him but a positive thing that they did not enlarge more. The results on the leg were not what he wanted to here and he still doesnt want to talk about. The infection has reached his prosthetic and no medicine can kill the bacteria once this happens. They are very limited on antibiotics to control the infection. We are taking the absolute last one at this time. His leg can not handle another successful surgery. He is struggling with the decision of losing his leg. If/when the antibiotics fail he could be faced with a life threatening infection. Please pray for him to accept what GOD has placed in his life at this time and to realize there is so much ahead he can and needs to enjoy! Thank you all so much!
