Update for XCOM: Enemy Within. The team scanned right off the bat and immediately found Aliens terrorizing Rio De Janeiro. A team of Mark Alan Combs, Kayla Rosini, Kevin Vogt, Jessica Ann Jensen, Jared Perrin and Ciara McCarthy was sent to stop the aliens terror attack. The team moved forward trying to get to as many citizens as possible while also taking minimal damage themselves. A Cyberdisc with Drone and two groups of three Floaters were spotted. The team easily dealt with the weak minions and continued on in search of citizens to rescue. Kayla encountered a pair of Chryssalids and destroyed one while the other ran off into the fog of war. The Chryssalid was found once again as it attacked and killed a citizen, turning them into a zombie. Ciara ran in and began evacuating citizens with Blindberghrgh while the rest of the team fought off any resistance that appeared. However, no more resistance appeared and for some reason, the mission ended right there successfully. More scans commenced and James Pollhein returned to active duty after being injured last mission. The council requested the XCOM team go to Mexico and defeat aliens that captured a surveillance post there. A team of Victoria Turan, Jimmy, Ty Smith, Alycia Renee, Holly Carmel and Josh Ripley was dispatched to deal with their request. As soon as the team landed they spotted two groups of three Thin Men close by. They moved into position to battle the weak enemies and wiped them out one at a time each. Ninja Mindfrayed the first followed by Ty sniping a second. Jimmy launched a grenade that took out three at once and Holly moved in to finish the last one. Ninja then moved ahead to scout and found a few more Thin Men in a building nearby. Ninja snuck up on the Thin men hiding out and threw a grenade into the middle of them, destroying them all at once. Alycia opened a door and three thin men fled and returned shortly after. Ty threw a grenade killing two of them while Alycia destroyed the final one, ending the mission. Scans continued until an Abductor class UFO was spotted and shot down. 12 enemies were present on the ship including A SEctopod, drones, Seekers, Muton Elites and an Ethreal. A Team of Dzintars Kalnins, Justin Lyons, Kayla Rosini, Brody Hotelling, Blindberghrgh and Aaron Smith was assembled to eliminate the UFOs remaining crew members. The team moved a little less cautiously than normal in order to reach the Meld canisters ASAP. The team moved forward and immediately encounted a pair of Muton Elites and the Ethreal for the level. The three ran deeper into the ship as the team gave chase. However, the team momentarily stopped to hold their ground as they had found a Meld Canister. Brody went to retrieve it while the rest of the team held their ground to fend off any possible attacks. The Ethreal and Mutons had circled back around trying to Flank the team but Z threw a flashbang diorienting the Mutons while the rest of the team laid into the Ethreal. Z killed the Ethreal after it mind controlled Justin however, Justin did not have time to deal any damage back on the team so all was well. The two Mutons were treated to a barrage of plasma blasts from the whole team and easily died. 3 down, 9 to go. The team went back on their way, hoping to reach the second Meld canister in time. The team moved on and discovered three seekers that instantly went into Stealth. The team hunkered down to try and counter-attack them, hoping it wouldnt turn into a wild goose chase with all three. Three Muton Elites also appeared and Brody managed to destroy a Seeker that emerged from stealth. The team lost sight of the Elites but pushed into the next room to find them and begin an attack on them. Kayla damaged one Muton as Blindberghrgh threw a grenade and killed it. Justin fired shredder rocket at a Sectopod that emerged into the room shortly after the Mutons were found and killed a Drone and injured the two remaining Mutons, destroying their cover as well. Brody and Blindberghrgh began suppressing the Sectopod as Z dealt massive damage to it. Kayla blasted through a Muton Elite as Blindberghrgh threw a grenade, hurting the Sectopod and destroying its Repair Drone. Justin fired a rocket and eliminated a Muton and the Sectopod, but there was still more to be done. A Seeker revealed itself and the team laid into it with ease. Brody located the last Meld Canister and the rest of the team sat and waited for the final Seeker to appear. The team saw it emerge from hiding and dealt with it before it could attack. The Meld recovered from this Mission allowed the team to build a second suit for Jimmy, now instead of a Proximity mine, giving him an EMP attack allowing him to disable robotic enemies temporarily.
