Update from Fonda... Toms Fight Against Cancer Update, Friday March 28: Tom is in terrible pain caused from the injections to stimulate bone marrow growth rapidly. Yesterday was a rough day for him. No sleep Wed. night, and unable to even sit without pain. He finally found some relief late last night. He will go yet again to the cancer center this morning for another injection and for blood work to see if the injection is working. Please pray for Gods mercy, that his counts will be up enough to return to chemo. Also, his hair is falling out rapidly already. Some people have told me thats no big deal, its just hair. .....its so much more than that. Its so easy to sit on the other side and say its Its just hair but the truth is, unless weve been in his shoes we have no idea what he feels. Im about as close as you could get without being in his actual shoes, and I would never think to say that. .....the losing of his hair represents a whole lot more than the physical signs, the outward signs of cancer.....sorry, just had to get that off my chest....I will update tonight or tomorrow on his report from the cancer center today. Thank you for your prayers.......
