Update from Salena, Jaxons mother. Yesterday we met with the radiation/oncologist, and then Jaxon had his CT with SIM to get him prepared for radiation. In the afternoon he had a pill swallowing class with a child life specialist which he rocked. He learned how to swallow it in 5 mins! Today we are meeting with his oncologist Dr. Wright, to sign consent for his clinical trial, which we will start Monday. It will be radiation and a chemo drug, which is a pill designed to specifically target the cells in his type of tumor. This afternoon we have simulation of radiation to get him used to it. Please keep praying for him and that he has minimum side effects from the radiation and medicine Please keep lift up Jaxon in your thoughts and prayers today and everyday.
