Update of Jess On the first photo you can see in what devastating state Jess was when I trapped her with a towel the same day. This wonderful girl has gone through a lot, including prolonged stay in a hospital, being on a drip and given heavy medication. What was wrong with the lovely girl ? She was down on kidneys failure. Finally her situation seemed not to improve at all and professional expertize advised me that she would not get better but may surrender sooner or later. I decided to I take Jess away from the clinic and took her home. A warm atmosphere, constant care and the best and most nutritious food should give her some better days. Jess grew into my heart and like a baby I nurse her constantly, keep her clean as good as possible but most importantly, give her love ! Some days she seemed to be extremely weak other days she gives the impression of improvement. Up and down ! Time has gone since she came to our home and now I am happy to tell you, she is doing better, sometimes she eating 2 pouches of Royal Canine a day. She likes one flavor very much. She is still wetting her sleeping corner but for the first time now she is using on and off her the litter box. Her fur was in a terrible shape as you can see on the initial photos and I have had a tough time to take most of the filthy hair balls out. Mind you, Jess is a feral cat but I still managed to cut most of her nails. She looks much better but still is far from being healed. Unfortunately she is not grooming herself at all. But you can see improvements on the following photos. Its very strange but when Jess came to our colony I dont know from whom and from where but I instantly loved her very much. Who would have thought that the little Lady would end up in my personal care. Lets hope together for a miracle as kidney diseases in cats usually end sad and she deserves better.
