Update of the time since Camp- From Andrews place we went to the Okanagan we went, BCs desert its the closest thing to Australian scenery Ive seen here, it was so cool looking. There were lots of beaches, and even more muffins, being called a French picker and having everyone point and laugh and not knowing whats going on. There was fires and drinks and heaps of corn, a dog that was a sheep and sleeping on a porch, riding to the mountain in the back of a truck which was the coolest, and then there was the demons in the hair that were the worst and ruined things, so hours spent upon the shores with helpful Steph and co. exorcising the demons, and finally... the loss of my precious locks... A return journey highlighted by ice cream and Disney, my fourth bed in a week at the splendid Ricks house. Then there was an awesome trip into Melbourne not Melbourne why did I say Melbourne? There was an awesome trip into Vancouver, with 10 min selfies that will ALL be posted eventually, ferries, markets, fancy streets, a band reunion, and an awesome orange Ecuadorian knitted jacket with a massive pointy hood, and Parmas! There was amazing Sushi, a going away party for Malfoy and the missus. Followed by a killer concert by the most famous band in Canada! And all you Australian people should get into them and make them big back home, because they are huge here and deserve to be back home- Oh Village, Ill post a link in the comments. Then there was the forming of an even greater band- Rick Weins, and topless Rock Band till 3 in the morning. There was a useless day with Battlefront and Hayden, followed by the most difficult shopping trip ever using an Australian ingredient list in a Canadian supermarket. WHY YOU CALL EVERYTHING DIFFERENT THINGS???? Then we baked a lamington cake. There was the most weirdly pointless day that began with seeing everyone in an Octagonal church drinking Tim Hortons and eating a baconator or something, whatever it was made sick. Then wondering the surreal realm of Highstreet with the surreal music and the futuristically grey shiney buildings. It was bizarre, there was struggling to find a way to pass away 5 hours so walking into the cinemas and seeing the first movie I saw... There was watching a romantic drama... In a theatre filled with couples... Up the back alone... And feeling like this should be part of a movie... But it was a good film actually and snogging would have blocked my view of the screen. It was called... If I Stay... I think, and then the shocking realisation that most of the movies I like best are always quirky romantic dramas... And then I went clothes shopping... Read into that what you will. There was a dying phone so resorting to returning to that same Tim Hortons in an Automall... Because that was where some weirdo decided they wanted dinner. Then waiting for like an hour and a half because everything was boring, but being fine with that because for the first time in ages I did some drawing and it was exciting! But it also meant for the first time in a long long time someone was able to sneak up on me and genuinely frighten me which is sad. BUT it also meant the final farewells to one of the coolest people youll meet. The laughs, the tears, the cheesy sandwiches, and.. there werent really tears, pfft. Then SLUMBER PARTAY! Woohoo! Slumber party!!!!! Games and cake and slumber and stuff! Then chilling with the Johnston and some film time and returning to the Rempels playing chess against a chessmeister, playing tennis for the second time ever at MEI, which also meant getting to see where every person I have met here it seems went to school. There was some long missed Middle Earth, and the weirdest sleep on multiple floors. Then a peculiar relationship between someone and their gran, but it got us to Hope, where we had the greatest fishnchipswine at Yoshis restaurant! And then it begun. The next chapter of my Canada story: Fall Staff, with the Maddog and the Peepee Fetus, and later Drew and the guy who has no nicnames appropriate for Facebook. Along with the seeders and the higher up folk. Its looking pretty decent so far, the rest of the week was training, Twilight, hot tubs, long lost Triple J and whatnot. And that was my break and first week of Autumn.
