Update on Job Interview: First, I did not apply. They sought me out. Second, I told them I was not on the transfer list. Third: They told me to interview because it was for a promotion and not a lateral move. Outcome: Mrs. Sayles, we really liked you and you were our first choice for the position, However, because you were not on the transfer list, your principal would not release you. WOW! Denied the opportunity to advance myself professionally, move up and receive a better income in which to help my daughters go to college. I will remember this! Bright side: I am taking three courses in the fall to finish up my Diag. Certification quicker. Maybe its best I didnt take on more responsibilities. God knows best.
