Update on Kathy Carson my sisters health. Im not sure if everyone knows -but she was deathly ill thursday and I didnt think she would make it. As the POA, I had to make some decisions...I authorized additional surgery to go back in and remove the temp hip joint and remove the staph infection, I also authorized dialysis since her kidneys had failed. She was too critically Ill for the dialysis, so they waited. Surgery happened and she did better than expected. Omg I just stopped to see Kathy and I walked in and she had her glasses on and looked at me and smiled they have her sedation low shes breathing entirely on her own great urine output .... Blood pressure is stable meds have been weaned and theyre going to take the ventipass in front of her but if this works ok shell be out of the critical care by mid week. Then there six months of hard work and the hip replacement again. Thanks everyone for your prayers and support
