Update on Mark Scott: Mark has been home 12 days now and I believe an update is in order! He has not used his walker since the third day. He said he knew he would not get stronger with it so he quit using it. He is also dumping his colostomy bag most of the time. Occasionally he asks one of us to do it. About half the time he gets his own drink, but that is better than all the time. He helps us plan meals, which is also good. So..There have been lots of changer since he has been, nearly all for the good. The visiting nurses have come twice, and have recommended a new bed (the one he is in is 8 years old) but the insurance company has to approve. They are to come back Tuesday, if the insurance will approve. Please thank God for the good decisions he is maling, and pray that the insurance comes through for the new bed and the. Visiting nurses are allowed to come and meet Marks needs.
