Update on Miss Makenzie.... Surgery went as well as can be expected. Her intestines grew from 39 1/2 cm. to 60 and they were able to stretch that to 80 cm. She is almost a third of where she needs to be. She is on a ventilator that should be removed sometime tomorrow. She was very groggy and with the vent between her vocal chords, she is unable to make sounds, poor baby had a crying face and no noise, broke mine and her mamas heart. We are going again tomorrow and we should be able to hold her. They were able to go in the original incision, so one less scar, but I worry about scar tissue building up.... thanks again for the continued prayers, love to all...
